A new Grasshopper definition now makes it possible for us to distribute the pyramid-grid on any curved surface. Controlled by the uw-parameters of the surface this definition makes it feasible to create a grid with differentiated densities - going from large parymid-shapes in one area to smaller pyramids in another.
Moving from a regular grid to a non-regular of course results in a shift from a design consisting of completely identical shapes to a grid composed by unique elements. This fact demands a far more detailed procedure for the production and assembly of the surface.
